Whether it's breaking news or a features profile, Haajrah Gilani wants to reach the heart of the matter in every piece she writes.
In 2022, Haajrah graduated cum laude from Temple University with a journalism degree. She specialized in print reporting, but also has experience with performance and production in both broadcast and radio. She is currently pursuing a graduate degree at Northwestern University.
Regardless of the medium, she aims to capture empathy and community-centric narratives in all of her work.
